Both are synchro diesels with joystick loaders (3020 is a direct plumbed model 48 (I think) & 4020 has a 148 that is plumbed into one of the two remotes). Feb 02, 2020 · I have a 3020 and have had 4020 John Deere tractors also. I grew up with John Deere. I know the Ford but the John Deere is way easier to work on. I currently have a 30-20 I use for bailing raking cutting mowing and hauling hay. A lot of the attachments from the 4020 will fit the 3020 so it seems like you could get double duty out of it.
